Lorilee, How funny you mentioned the taking care of yourself BEFORE surgery. I too am having a pedicure and massage and facial before. I just want to honor this event and consider it like a vacation of sorts. i am really excited for you---and me! love, Missy lapband 7/3, sf calif.

Dorthy and Patti, Thanks so much for the kind words and prayers, My prayers were answered, my biopsy was fine, Phew was really sweating bullets. So let the count down begin!! And Patti, I don't mind you leaning on my "shoulders" I have big ones anyhow..lol....Well, for now anyways. Peace and Love and Lots of luck to all of you, this is such a wonderful place to come and be embraced by people who care and have gone thru before.........Changes.......

Theresa, Just wanted to let ya know I am having surgery on the 15th too, it was originally planned for the 29th but after an appt w/the doc today I found out they had an opening for the 15th----yahoooo!!!

I know what you mean! I am scheduled to have my surgery on July 7th!! I am also kind of nervous! I know that it will change my life for the better, but it's still kind of scary! I hope that the lab work that you are having done, to check your blood gasses, goes well, and as painless as possible....That's NOT a fun thing to have done!! My prayers go out to you for your surgery, and for a speedy recovery! Take good care of yourself!
