Hi Carla! I also didn't have too much trouble getting a approved at 5'7" 255lbs. It has gone by so fast for me. My first consultation was May 8th. My surgery date is July 2nd. I can hardly believe it but I am soooo ready! Nervous, but ready! Can't wait to hear from you on the losing side!

July 3rd is my surgery date for gastric bypass. It was relatively easy to get approved at 5'9" and 267 pounds. Dr. Bryan Freeman will be doing the surgery, and my one-on-one appointment with him is this Wednesday. Any pointers and/or advice at this point in the journey?

Hi, can you get a programmer to take off the big letters on a page of mine that people are posting to that says, "Marylu still doesn't have an angel". I don't know how to change it, but I have 2 main women and at least 6 more women and men who are doing various things from prepping house, errands, prep for hospital stay, staying at the hospital with me, staying at home with me...etc. I am very blessed! I'm also scheduled for the 14th. I'm nervous but no second thoughts. I only three weeks off work. Hope that is enough!
