I am SO PSYCHED! I am also having mine July 8th! ;) My doctor said for 3 days before the surgery I need to go on a clear liquid diet (I am SO NOT looking forwards to that!) which helps a ton with healing after the surgery. ALSO --- Since they blow you up with air for the surgery (if you are haing laproscopic) as soon as you can you need to GET OUT OF BED and walk! Go for short walks or long walks JUST WALK. The sooner you get out of bed the better. I was told by about 50 people that the hardest part is the actual getting out of bed. After that it's not so bad BUT if you don't get out of that bed and walk you will be miserable! GOOD LUCK!!! Ravit (Vicky(

One month ago, I decided that I wanted and needed rny surgery. I have been approved and I received the information on today. I would love to say it was easy without any problems, but I would be lieing... On Friday, June 20th, I found out that my company was changing insurance at the end of the Month. All my paper work was at the old company and they was not processing any new request. Thank GOD, I did not take no for an answer. I called my insurance rep. at work and she provided me with the new insurance contact person name. I can her on Friday afternoon and by Tuesday morning, I received a call from Liv-Lite stating that I was approved. "Way to go Pat". The people at Liv-lite in Warren, Mi has been a blessing to me.... I know I can be a bi?ch sometime, especially when I want something... Not one-time, did they get angry about me calling every 5 minutes to fax the data to the new insurance company. Again, way to go "Pat".

Hi Laura! My date is July 16th! I'll definatley be feeling your pain when you come out of surgery the day after I do! I'll keep you in my prayers! Best of luck to you....keep us updated on your progress!
