Hi Cathy, I just was notified yesterday my surgery date is July 15th. I am so excited. Having laproscopic RNY, my pre-op physical is July 8 with Dr. Mecenas in Ithaca, NY.

My date is July 15th and I feel the same way as you do! I live in Pennsylvania. I'm not really nervous but I am extremely anxious! I keep on gazing at those before and after pictures too! I can't even believe the same thing is going to happen to me! It is a miracle and a blessing that I could be so fortunate to have this experience happen to me! I do think about my date every day! I found out yesterday that I was approved and today they scheduled my surgery for July 1. I 'm so excited on one hand, but on the other hand, my parents and sister are very very apprehensive, and dwell on the risks, and makes me nervous...aauugghh. My husband is very supportive, and although my kids were nervous about it, now they are supportive. Anyway, I have 6 days to get my total life in order before I go in. Hope things go well with the rest of my july buddies! Lori
