Hi Desiree...I almost feel we share NEW BIRTHDAYS together as I too am having my wls on July 16th. I live on Long Island New York and the heat here the last two days has been awful and all I can think about is Not having to suffer from that in the future. Hi, Brenda. I will be having my surgery on July 8 in Houston and I, too, get anxious at times. I guess if we didn't, we wouldn't be normal. Please e-mail me whenever you feel like it. If you would like to have a "surgery pal" to compare notes with, I would also. I am trying to focus on the good that I expect to come from this surgery and to let the anxieties just wash over and past me when they come. But it's not always easy, is it.

I too will be having my surgery on July 30th, if all goes well with my colonoscopy on the 30th of June. I will have it done at Crestwood in Huntsville, AL.
