I am having surgery on July 24th at Columbia Presbyterian in New York. I am getting very excited now that July begins tomorrow! I can't wait, but as another person asked I am finding it hard to keep busy. I am reading a lot not just about WLS, but also just some good books.

I think that is a great idea, Lori. I'm one of those "later in the month" people, but not that much later. My date is July 8. I am sending you my e-mail address. Thanks for getting this started.

I'm also on July 3rd. I live in Kirkland WA and surgery is 7:30 am with Dr Weber at Stevens hosptial. Good luck to everyone...we'll have to compare notes after we're all on the other side. Jeannie

Good luck ... Hearing the words your approved is the best .... I had my surgery last april 2002 and It wasthe best decision I have ever made ... Good luck ...hugs

I'm getting excited about next week...and still a little nervous. My insurance has verbally approved, but we still need the written ok. I'm told it will be in on time, but you never know! Good luck to all!
