16 days to go. I'm starting to get kinda scared, and worried that I won't buy the right stuff that I need for the first few weeks. I hate pain so I'm really worried about the first week or so. Another part of me wants to jump up and down for joy

Hi Everyone. My name is Lori and I am having Lap RNY gastric bypass with Dr. James Davidson in Dallas, Texas on July 10th! I am getting really scared and nervous about the surgery approaching. I do not want any complications!!! I am praying so hard that my surgery will be uneventful. I am very excited...just moved up 3 weeks! Can't wait...I know that I am nervous, but the future and being healthy a gain out weigh the nervousness! God Bless everyone going in soon or who have already gone! Can't wait to join all you wonderful people! Those yet to get a date or thinking about it! I know the pressure and thought that goes in to it...you'll all be in my prayers for the right decision for you! God Bless dealing with this journey in life!! -Michelle

Dorothy/Upsstate/NY, You go girl. AWESOME SURGERY AHEAD. I was so happy to see your surgery date posted, as fate would have it, we share our surgery date of July 3, 2003. This means that our baby stomachs will share birthdays. Are you as nervous as I am, I just want to start my new life. I will keep you in my prayers and also your team of surgeons. We are going to be so happy after the pain stops, we just need to keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. Tomorrow is liquid and a magnesium citrate ****tail, lets drink to our new lifes. If I can, I will try to message you again tomorrow. Lots of luck, Midge
