Joann I am amazed. I am to do clear liquids the day before surgery and I thought I would try two days. Girl you have some willpower. Lots of luck on your surgery and may your surgeon's gifted hands by guided by God. Good Luck. Mine in the 10th

Hi Guys, Anyone having surgery around the same date? I am having mine in Wilmington, NC with Dr. Harris. Scared and excited. It is always scarry to have any surgery but hopefully all things will improved health wise after this surgery. Losing weight and looking better is not a bad side effect either.

Hey JoAnn,
I am having Lap RNY on July 10th and started my all liquid diet today! I have only 3 protein drinks and then clear liquids, until two days before surgery, then it is only clear liquids, then the night before bowel prep and then nothing until surgery! I am getting very nervous and scared. How are you feeling?

S R , I pray that all will go fine with you. My surgery date is July 18, so I am three days behind you. I will be having the RNY.
I believe this is the right choice that we made given the facts.

Its almost here... Just want to say thank you to this Website... what a saving grace... and to all the wonderful people I have had a chance to chat with and share stories.... 5 days to go... prayers are needed and welcome. Yahooooooo....there is a new day coming and my day is July 8, 2003
Topic: Last pre-op visit!
Today, or tomorrow, depends on what time zone you are in, its 1am here, I go see my surgeon, Dr Clough for my last pre-op appointment before surgery on the 15th. I can't wait. This is getting soooooooooo real. I also found out that a member I have called (I am a volunteer in Member Services here at OH) has a surgery date of July 18th, it is so great to hear that we have the same month and I have known her since just about the time she started this journey. How cool is that???? Wish me luck for tomorrow!!!!

Hey Nelson, We are wls buddies! My date is July 15th also. Can't wait to get it over with. Just 14 more days, well 13 as now it is after midnight. Good luck!
