Okay, I was all ready for this and now my surgery is the 14th and I am scared to death. I am not sure what I am scared of. I think it is that I am going to have the lap band done and I am will fail at this like I have all the other things I have tried...... I have got to do something. I am a mom of 3 kids and my health is terrible. I want to be around to watch them graduate from High School and get married and I want to enjoy my grandchildren if I ever get any............. I am just scared!!

My July 10 date has been changed. They found ulcers when I had my scope. I go back for another scope on the 8th of August. I will know more then.

Hi, Lori. I am scheduled July 23 with Naaman in Houston. I am going through all the preop jitters, too. I have been trying to decide if I should do the "just in case" things. Finally, this morning, decided to do it. Wrote down my last wishes (just couldn't find a way to tell my husband, but this way they are in writing) and I already feel better. I have stopped obsessing about it...like I can let it go and get more positive now. I hope this new outlook continues. I would suggest it for others who are feeling scared. WRITE DOWN the thoughts you are thinking and the feelings you are feeling. Your surgery is just a couple days away, now. I hope you have come to peace with your feelings. I will pray for you. Hi pat!!! Congrats...my surgery is the 29th. I have left "last wishes" It's alway good, in my opinion, to be prepared. Although you don't want to be negative, it's not really it's being prepared. You are in the Father's hands! God Bless! ---Lynn Sherrer
