Hi Brenda! I am having my surgery tomorrow at 8am. I am so nervous! I have been keeping myself busy by paying bills, washing clothes, etc. I am doing clear liquids today too and I am hungry!!! I didn't do a "last meal" because I had too many butterflies to enjoy it. Today however, I am kicking myself in the butt for not going out and having a last big meal celebration. Oh well. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and I'll see you on the losing side

Hi Rene, I'm so proud of you. You have taken the most important step in your life, taking it back and being in charge. I have my WLS in the morning at 10 am, Open RNY. I'm a little anxious as I know you probably was, but I know that this is the right decision for me. I'll be glad to be on the other side as you are. Well, my surgery is in the morning at 10 am. Yes I'm anxious, excited and a little scared. I want everyone who believes in a higher power to please include me in your prayers and thoughts. I have had my wonderful ****tail, and have been doing the clear liquid thing. I guess this is my punishment for all the piging out that I have been doing offf and on. I want to wish lots of luck and prayers from my heart to all of the precious people that have been there for me thourgh this process. I now know why it is called a journey. I literally have 40 hours left. I invision myself running into the hospital and jumping on that operating table! Any words of advice? I am so ready. A little nervouse about what it will be like the few days and short weeks following surgery, but know that I will be okay. Michele Barger 7-10-03 surgery day
