I am saying goodbye to the pounds and all the other things that have weighed me down and kept me from living the life that I was meant to live. Hello Brenda! I was also frightened. Then someone told me that it is already written when I will be born and when I will die. I realized that I didn't need to worry about that any more. I have spent most of my life worrying about things that will never happen. I am having surgery next Monday and I am ready to be free of worrying about my weight and it being all consuming. I am ready to experience all the things I told myself I was too big to do. I can't wait to feel good in my own skin again and experience the joys that come with being healthy. We will all be fine, just trust and have faith. Six months from now we will join those who say what a special gift this has been! Hello Pamela! I am also having surgery next Monday. I'm right there with you! I'm anxious and also nervous that I won't know what to eat when I come home. I feel just like I did with my first baby! I can't wait until I lose that first 25 pounds and I can "breath" again. This past year, I have felt that no matter what I did, my stomach continues to grow. I look like I am 9 mos. pregnant! I am so bloated! I am afraid that as soon as they poke me, I am just going to blow and fly around the operating room! I kid you not! Lol! Best wishes to you for a smooth surgery and a rapid recovery!
