Topic: July 16th!
Hi everyone. I had my surgery on July 16th at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL. All went well! I am home now and happy for all the support I have received from family, friends and support groups like this one! A new happier, healthier life is just around the corner!!!!

A thank you to all who were praying for me during my surgery on Monday the 14th. I came home Wednesday afternoon and each morning I wake up I'm feeling better than the day before. I am a tummy sleeper and am now able to sleep on my tummy after the lap RNY. It feels soooo much more comfortable -I slept like a log last night. I have been able to take in about 64 oz of water yesterday (that was a real concern becaues I was a big gulpper of water and did not know how I would do sip- sip- sipping all day long). I was able to walk around the block this morning and am planing to do it again after lunch and again after dinner. Yester day was about 100 out and too hot to walk out side!!! Today is supposed to be only 90 so I will see how the afternoon does for me. Now I have the basic worries of Post Op. "will this actually work for me" will I loose all the weight" So far my scale says no but I know that it has not even been a week and I am being impatient. But with some people loosing 25 lbs in the first two weeks you would think something would show up on the scale within the first week. Oh well I wanted to keep you updated and your support has brought me this far. I wouldn't be able to do it as easily with out all of you. -- Diane Koch
