Hi Lavern. I am also scheduled for the 31st and was really going through the same feelings. Im still nerveous and thats normal. But what helped me the most was that I have had several friends have the surgery and they are all fine. And I had another one have it Thursday and I went to see her in the hospital. Not just for her but for me too. So I could be prepared on what to expect. And you know what. Theres nothin too it! I saw her on day 2. She was a little sore and nauseous but in good spirts and laughing and joking around with the rest of us. Your gonna do Great. Keep posative.

Hi Lavern, I had my WLS on the 9th and am glad to be on the other side of the surgery part of the journey. The anxiety that you are feeling is normal and is part of this whole process that we must all go through. hi Kate; Congrats to your lucky date! From now on that should be considered the day of your re-birth I'm almost 2 yr post come the 18th of dec and had an open rny. You'll do just fine and yes you'll look forward to being much healthier so that everything will fit better and it will!
