Fellow July 2003 post-op

Hi Everyone, You are all so encouraging, I had my surgery July 30, 2003. I started out at 276lbs. I am 9 1/2 months out and have lost 109lbs. I'm not losing as much as I was its coming off much slower, I would get upset just like you all but my husband (who is so good to me), brought to my attention how thankful I should be for being able to lose as much as I have. I didn't have any complications, no dumping, no pain...no problems at all, I do get diarrhea if I eat something that doesn't agree that day, but other than that no problems. The inches are coming off and I think overall thats what really important, the weight will eventually catch up. I work out 6 days a week and I hated it, I don't like exercising, but you know when I look in the mirror I walk just a little harder : ) Don't give up guys we will all eventually reach our goal, even if it takes the entire 18 months I still have a way to go, instead of a long ways to go.
