Little worried !!!
Hello all. My name is Sharon and I am 7 months post op. I am writing on here because I have been having some complications...such as I just had my gallbladder taken out because I was diagnosed with Gallbladder Pancreatitis...(I think thats how its spelled)...while they were in there they said my liver looked discolored and come to find out that my liver wasnt getting proper oxygen and blood flow. The doctor said that he thought it was because of my gallbladder being inflamed but Im still worried. Plus, I feel like my weight loss it taking forever. I have 94 lbs, but I just feel like its taking awhile...besides all of the excess skin.
I send you prayers regarding your liver and health issues. I also send you encouragement. I have lost that fast either, but as long as we don't eat too much or the wrong things and we exercise, we should still continue to lose as per my Doc. I had surgery on June 27, 03 and have lost about 90 to 100 lbs since surgery (I haven't weighed this month yet) and haven't really been able to exercise due to a hernia and having it repaired.
I'm sure that once you heal from your Gallbladder operation and your doctor makes sure your liver is working correctly, the weight will start to move again. Chin up- every pound is good, as long as it isn't one gained- dont you think?
I bet you still feel better than you would've with all the weight you've lost still on your frame. Good luck!!!!!!!
I thank you for your response and appreciate the encouragement. I am definately happier now that I am almost 100 lbs lighter I just get discouraged when I dont lose weight sometimes...but my biggest problem is when I look at the scale twice a day. I need to stop...lol...but its hard. Good luck with your weight loss as well. I hope all goes well in the future for you.
Hey Sharon, I have been worried too! I have lost 94 pounds and seems like now every pound lost is like crawling. But we all seem to be at or about the same with our weight loss totals to date...so I'm encouraged that we are right on target! Good luck! And I wear a smaller size at 150 than I did 30+ years agos at 150, isn't that weird!
