Protein
I find I get the highest percent of my protein in the form of supplements such as unflavored powder from Unjury.com --excellent stuff, mixes well with *anything* and there's no taste. It can also go in fairly warm liquids (shouldn't go above 130 degrees) such as coffee, soups or sauces. Or from Sci-Fit amino (tropical fruit is my fav) in water which also helps me get my water quota in. Breakfast is usually a smoothie with the unflavored Unjury and afternoon water includes the Sci-Fit tropical fruit. The Unjury is 20 grams and the Sci-Fit as I use it is about 25 so there's 45 grams of easily digestable protein right there.
Fitday shows that while I do get a farily good intake of protein "naturally" from the foods I eat; I know that the amount I actually am able to consume isn't all the large so I feel more confident I'm getting better absorption from the supplements I use.

I'm probably still a little on the 'lacking' side but when I feel a little hungry, I'll snack on cheese or yogurt, in an effort to get that protein in. I also drink a lot of milk during the day, and add it to my tea if I have some. I guess I'd have to say that I turn to dairy products for the protein more than anything else. And if I'm feeling really froggy, I'll use a little bit of sliced, low fat, turkey breast, wrapped around slivers of cheese, for my snack. Yum.
Have you tried Carb Countdown? It is actually pretty good. It is in the dairy section and it is a Atkins product. I comes in a cardboard milk container. It has 12 grams of protein in 1 cup. I like to slice up a banana and put it in my drink (I get the chocolate).
The other night my family made pasta, and I cannot tolerate that yet, so instead I made myself a salad and when I got home drank 2 glasses of the carb countdown - that was 24g of protein - not too bad.
