YIPPEE...Down 97 lbs and feeling GREAT!!

Just wanted to share my excitement at loosing 97 lbs and 10 sizes in 6 months...I am back in the gym and feeling great! Good luck to everyone in the process of making this big decision and to those who already did...CONGRATUATIONS!! FYI...went to Old Country Buffet with my family the other night...because I am no longer going to hide from food now that I am in control...and they wouldn't honor the bariatric surgery card and charge me for a children's portion....I had to pay $10.00 for a small chicken leg and 3 small pieces of lettuce!! Pass the word...they think we are liars about having the surgery and what we can eat!! From the mouth of the manager!

Hi! I went to a buffett, Ryans Steakhouse they honored my card with no questions asked. I have yet to go to an Old Country Buffett. What are you eating? I have been really careful before and after my complications I had. What surgery did you have? I had the Sapala-Wood Micropouch my pouch is as big as a grape! I have went from 240 to 146 in less than 6 mos! I feel pretty good, in spite of my problems! Have you had any complications? I am scared of alot of foods. I have been since day one! I eat when I am hungry..and I guess that's not a good thing. Have you lost much hair? I am losing alot my hair is very thin and dull! I have neglected my protein! I am starting to use the Atkins shakes they are so much better than my powder mix from the surgeons office that's for sure! Well thanks for listening, Shannon

I thought that I was behind in losing weight, but it sounds pretty normal. I have lost 93 since July 26. Have 6 month check-up on the 4th. Kudo,s to us all!!!!

I had a battle with Ryan's before. They wouldn't honor my card. I did pay full price and got sick. I told the manageras he was sitting down to eat, to enjoy his meal because I had basically paid for it. I am bad.....But it made me mad that they thought that I was lying. Haven't been back in 5 months. Congrats on the weightloss. You are doing great. Paula -109
