No weight loss for almost a month!
Great weight loss thus far. Platues are common but I know they are a bother. I have seen people suggest to use www.fitday.com. It helped me quite a bit when I was not sure how much of anything I was getting a day.
Good luck!

Sharon,
The same thing happened to me. I plateaued for almost a month and then in one week lost almost 10 lbs. I'm on another plateau right now and only have lost 1 lb in the last 10 days. It is so frustrating!!! What seems to work for me was doing something drastic to 'shock' my system. I either do hardcore Atkins Induction (which I started today) or a full day of back to the basic....liquids only.
You are doing awesome so far.....75 lbs lost is great. We all just have to be patient. It's going to continue to come off.
Best of luck to you,

Sharon,
You're doing just fine! My surgery was July 10th, 2003 and I'm only 7 lbs ahead of you. I've lost a total of 82 now. Try to eat slower and take smaller bites. If you're eating too fast, you are going to streatch out your pouch. It's hard, especially when you're eating with the family, but stick to your guns...one bite every 3 to 4 minutes and you'll find you're fuller faster and you'll lose more quickly. Good luck!
Hi Sharon, You're doing great! I'm 51 yrs. old my RNY was 07/15/03 and my loss is 83 pounds (244/161). I decided at the start not to beat myself up on the pace of pounds lost! Each of us are unique and we WILL lose at different rates, but we WILL LOSE! No put-downs, positive feedback and support, support, support! You go girl, you're right on target for you!
Continued success to you...Ann
Hey Sharon I can relate to u I am at a stand still with this weight loss thing I got happy because I was 363lbs and now I am 258lbs and I had surgery on 7/31/03 and for the last 2 months I have been between 258lbs and 266lbs so I have not really lost any weight in 2 months and I felt like giving up I said forget this lots of time but I know that it will get better and our bodies do have to catch up !!So I wish u and myself good luck at this weight loss!!!! Shemone
I had my surgery on 7/25/03 - I feel like a loser because I actually got my weight down to 235 (-87 pounds) then this morning it was back up to 240. I know I haven't been that good about what I eat, but I haven't been real bad, either, and for it to go UP is very disheartening - on the other hand, it seems to be matching the rest of my life, so perhaps I'm just cursed or some-such-thing.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, as long as it's not going UP you're doing good. Best wishes and good luck!
