5 MONTHS OUT AND 107 LBS GONE FOREVER

Well, I haven't updated in a long time but I still lurk around. I had open RNY 7/8/03. My starting weight was 284 lbs. Today, 12/11/03, I weighed 177 lbs. My BMI has gone from 44.5 to 27.7 in just 5 months and I am down 107 pounds. I was wearing sizes 26-28 on the day of my surgery. I bought a skirt today, size 14 and blouse, size medium. Talk about a boost of self-confidence. Life is so good and I have been so blessed.

Kendra, I am so glad I get to be the first to congradulate you! How wonderful!!!! Keep up the good work. I had surgery on 7/17 and am down 88.5 pounds. I, like you, am feeling good. Again, keep trucking along! Just think about what you will look like next summer- sexy! Neita

Wow Kendra, That is so awesome. You are doing great. On 12-25, I will be 5 months out. At the present time, I weigh 183. -97 lbs. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. I know that next year I will have a new resolution and it won't be to lose weight like all the other years. lol. Hugs, Paula

Congratulations Kendra! My WLS RNY was 7.15.03 at 244 lbs. Today my weight is 167, DOWN 77 pounds. What a wonderful Christmas Gift we all have this year! Last year I was depressed yet again about my weight and this year I am wearing a size 12/14 (last year was 22/24). What a wonderful New Year we have to look forward to.

Keep up the good work and continue on buying those fire looking clothes I have gone from a size 28/28 in pants to an 18/20 and in shirts from a 4x to L/XL.
