OMG that is wonderful. my friend is 500 lbs, he's trying to have the surgery and i would love to see him lose like you are. we have apt with surgeon next friday, i'm hoping they will schedule it real soon. I had gastric by-pass surgery on July 3rd and i've lost 63 lbs. but i'm considered a lightweight. I started out at 212/i'm now 150lbs... Good luck to you in your journey, your doing so great now, keep up the good work.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. I want to do the same for y'all too. Matthew 6:33 says it all. I believe that God will grant our desires if they are truly needs and not necessarily wants. I pray for you today and will continue to do so in the future. I have put each of you on my prayer list.
I weighed in today and now weigh 365.
Obviously, I eat much less than I would like sometimes but, it is paying off. Eat your protein first! If there is room left, which there usually is not, I encourage you to eat veggies rather than carb infested foods. This works for me.
I have not really exercised much yet. I walk alot more than I used to but, I still feel I have a little way to go before I get into a weight training mode. LOL
Weigh yourself the same time of day if at all possible each time you weigh in. Also, do not deceive yourself by wearing lots of clothes the first time you weigh in and then wear less the next time. You will only be lying to yourself about your true weight. I suggest weighing yourself without clothing except at the Doctor's office or health club. LOL That might not be a good thing.
Drink your water and eat your Flintstone chewables and Tums. These make a huge difference. If you retain water like I have been known to do, do not drink more than 48 oz. of water. Don't ask me why, I can only speak from experience.
Good luck today.
