2 weeks and one day!!

I had my surgery on the 21st of July and it's now August 5th. I am back to myself and even went for a really good walk today with a friend. My surgery went without a hitch, in at 7:30 am out at 11:00 am or so. (Outpatient Surgery, can you imagine?) I love my LapBand. I am down 27 lbs (but I had to lose 15 before surgery). I am so happy!

I also had lap band surgery on July 22, 2003. I feel great, and I've lost 21 pounds since then (today is August 14). I'm moving to soft foods next week. I've been tolerating things fine, haven't had anything come back up. I hope it stays that way into the next phase. I had a great experience also- surgery at 8:00 am, out at 9:15, left the hospital the next day at 2:00pm.

I too am having LAP Sept 9th. I don't undertsand why you had to lose 15lbs BEFORE SURGERY. I AM NOT HAVING A BYPASS ONLY LAP AJUSTABLE. DO YOU KNOW IF THATS REASON ? THANK YOU AND CARRY ON SO GLAD YOUR HAPPY. WERE YOU AFRAID, I AM SCARED. ALMOST BACKING OUT CAROL COX ENGLAND
