My surgery was July 21st!

I had my surgery 7/21 and came home on 7/23 and have done wonderful. It's been 2 weeks today and i've lost 19 lbs, 18.5 inches and I start back to work tomorrow for 1/2 days for a week. I've started today on full solids and still have not had a problem. I just have to take it slow and remember to chew, chew, chew and sip, sip, sip. My whole experience has been wonderful and Dr. Leland Cook, at Frye Regional Medical in Hickory, NC is the best! Anyone looking for a wonderful doctor and team, look no further... I have nothing but praise for them.

Hi Debbie, I also had weight loss surgery on the 21st! I am so happy. I had the Lap Band surgery and live in Washington State. Good luck on your future on the "losing" side.

It's nice to hear things went well for you. I had my surgery on 7-21-03 and have lsot 35lbs and 3 dress sizes. I only had one complication that I am dealing with I am not able to take anything by mouth because my esophogus is swelled closed. Everything(liquid shake and water) go thru my stomach tube. I wish you luck with your weight loss keep up the greast attitude. Christy
