Hi Jane Lynn, I'm so glad that you are going to be able to have WLS. Seems like the hardest part is making the decision to have WLS. I had mine on the 9th and am doing great. When you go to the hospital take your pillows, a good pair of slippers as you will be doing a lot of walking, and don't wear the nice gowns you have bought for the hospital. The drain and the g-tube (if your doc uses them) will drain at the insertion site and stain your good gowns. I wor the hospital gowns with my robe over when I walked. Take something comfortable to wear home, nice and loose. I want you to know that getting anxious before the surgery is normal. We all go through it. I will say a prayer for you as I truely believe in the power of prayer. Your WLS friend...Brenda from Apopka, FL
