8 weeks post op and "I" wouldn't do it again!

Everything I was warned about has happened. It was 8 weeks and 2 days ago. I am still not able to eat or drink anything but hot tea and broth. I am scheduled for a 2nd endoscopic dialation to expand my opening but the 1st one didn't stay and I have already been warned it could shut down again. I also developed a hernia along the inscision line right above the belly button that the Dr. refuses to address until I lose weight, never mind the pain or discomfort I am feeling. Maybe it is the lack of food that is making me angry and hostile. Quite frankly I am sick of hearing about everyone who is doing so well but are dissapointed with the slow weight loss. At least they can eat. I can't even get enough fluids in to keep me hydrated. My husband made a joke that the sick and the dead don't go to the support meetings. Turned out he wasn't joking after all. I can't even walk to the mailbox without my heart palpitating and getting out of breath ! The Dr. wanted me walking 2 miles a day after 5 weeks. Yeah right Doc !!! Thanks for at least letting me vent !
