On for July 30th

I enter hospital July 29 for a Greenfield and stay overnight for surgery the next day. My reservation says "Table for 1 at 1:30 PM, although that's hospital time. Am I nervous? I am for more nervous that outstanding projects at the office will not get done on time. I think I am glad to be spending the weekend working as opposed to sitting around, dreaming up creative ways to eat sugar-free Jell-O. Jay Ide

Hi Jay, Glad to see you have a sense of humor, your going to need it. I had my WLS on the 9th and I'm doing great. When you go to the hospital take your pillows, they sleep better than the ones you get there. Take a good pair of slippers, you will be doing alot of walking. I wore the hospital gowns as the site where the drain and the g-tube are inserted leak and can stain your pj's. Just let your butt shine while in your room and put arobe on when you are walking in the hall. Hope everythaing goes well for you. I will be glad to hear from you when you get to the other side.
