I submitted my request for surgery 07-22-03 and was approved 07-23-03, I will be getting my surgery 07-31-03. Thank You Jehovah!

Hi Sheila, I think you got your approval faster than anyone I have ever heard of!!!!I had my WLS on the 9th and am doing great. I want to remnd you to take your pillows, a good paor of slippers, (you will be doing a lot of walking after the surgery) and I bought all these cue gowns and didn't wear a single one. The site whee your drain and g-tube will leak for a few days and this will stain your gowns. I just wore hospital gowns til I went home the day after surgery. I wore a lounger home and was very comfortable for the 2 hour drive. I wish you well and I know that you will do just fine. You are in my prayers. Your WLS friend...Brenda from Apopka, FL
