New date...July 11th ?

Hello everyone. I went for my final preop visit with Dr.Greene yesterday. He told me someone decided to not have the surgery and I could be scheduled for their earlier date of Friday July 11th instead of Friday July 25th. Julia has to call Shadygrove hospital Monday to schedule me on the operating room list. I have to postpone my Florida trip for a few weeks, but I don't mind the sacrifice at all. Dr.Greene gave me my pre and post op instructions. I now have to continue the 3 protein shakes a day and lots of water only. I have to do a lot of walking to exercise my lungs. They gave me my 7 perscriptions to get filled. Some of them have to be ordered but will be in by Monday. Tuesday I will begin taking some of them. Thursday night i will give my self the first Lovenex injection. This is a blood thinner to prevent post op clotting. I will write more later. Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July! Bev

Bev, Hi, I am so happy for youu!. I am also being operated on July 11th. I will say a prayer for you. I live in MA and I am having surgery at Mass General Hospital at 7:45 a.m. I would like to keep in touch with you if you would like. I think it will be great to exchage notes.
