July 9th just around the corner

My WLS date is July 9th and I'm getting anxious. My husband is too. We do everything together so this is a joint effort , even though I'm the one having surgery. Kepp me in your prayers.

Brenda, please know that you will be in my prayers....I am haivng my surgery on Monday, July 7th, and I am nervous as well....I know it's the right thing to do, yet it's kind of scary, huh?!?! Take care and best wishes....

Hi Brenda, I am anxious as well. I also will be having surgery on July the 9th and it is also my husbands birhtday! I will keep you in my thoughts and I hope you have a speedy recovery.

My surgery is also on July 9th, Brenda. I'm having it done at Arcadia Methodist Hospital--Lap RNY. At any given moment, I am either excited or terrified! I had a snag arise at the end of last week and am scheduled for a needle biopsy on one of my breasts tomorrow--2 days before my surgery. My surgeon decided that he wanted to take a better look at a small spot on my mammograms--something that has been there for a year or two--it hasn't changed and my PCP thought that because it is unchanged and very small that a biopsy wasn't indicated. This has kind of thrown me for a loop. I am 99.99% sure that it is nothing, but there's always that 0.01%!!! I so want all of this anticipation to be over. I'll be praying for all of us who share this surgery date. Let's look forward to a NEW life...
