Scared Silly - Surgery July 10th
Hi Everyone. My name is Lori and I am having Lap RNY gastric bypass with Dr. James Davidson in Dallas, Texas on July 10th! I am getting really scared and nervous about the surgery approaching. I do not want any complications!!! I am praying so hard that my surgery will be uneventful. Hi Lori I am schedule for surgery on 7/24 I will be keeping you in my prayers as you go through the journey. I have had some fears, but I think that is human. Hi, Lori. I am scheduled July 23 with Naaman in Houston. I am going through all the preop jitters, too. I have been trying to decide if I should do the "just in case" things. Finally, this morning, decided to do it. Wrote down my last wishes (just couldn't find a way to tell my husband, but this way they are in writing) and I already feel better. I have stopped obsessing about it...like I can let it go and get more positive now. I hope this new outlook continues. I would suggest it for others who are feeling scared. WRITE DOWN the thoughts you are thinking and the feelings you are feeling. Your surgery is just a couple days away, now. I hope you have come to peace with your feelings. I will pray for you.
