Got my date July 9th

I will be having my WLS on the 9th of July. I am getting real anxious about all of this. I have been trying to have WLS for 3 years, and now that the time is here I really wonder what have I gotten myself into. I know that this is what I need to do to lose this weight once and for all. I am 5'2 and weigh 275. I have all the comordities except sleep apnea. As I said this is the end of my weight nightmare. I would like to here from all you nice people so we could go the changes that are fixing to happen. I wish everyone good luck in their journey.....Brenda from Apopka, FL

Hi Brenda, Upstate NY here, iwill be having my surgery July 3rd, right 7 days from now, i'm so nervous about this, but i know i will get thru it just fine..I'm only 4'10" (i know short) 58/211, i can't wait to lose 75 lbs it would be a blessing..I wish you all the best on your wls....Good luck on our journey as we will have a much better life after this....Good luck again...Dorothy/UpstateNY

Hi, Brenda. I will be having my surgery on July 8 in Houston and I, too, get anxious at times. I guess if we didn't, we wouldn't be normal. Please e-mail me whenever you feel like it. If you would like to have a "surgery pal" to compare notes with, I would also. I am trying to focus on the good that I expect to come from this surgery and to let the anxieties just wash over and past me when they come. But it's not always easy, is it.
