anyone having surgery july 1st????
Hi there! I too am having surgery on July 1st. I am getting very nervous and find myself thinking that I might not make it through the surgery.. anyone else out there getting scared??? I read in Carney Wilson's new book that she compares the surgery to having your gallbladder removed...I wonder if that is true....I just keep praying and giving it back to God over and over.
I am in San Diego and my surgeon is Dr. Charles Callery....

I am having a laproscopic bypass RNY at INOVA Fairfax in Northern virginia on July 1.........if it's anyhting like the gallbladder, it will be a breeze. I hd no problems. Take care, stay in touch [email protected]

my name is cindy and i live in nj. my surgery date is also 1 july and i have been waiting for this day since aug 2002. i cant believe its finally here, and cant wait to have a new start at my life. i have been praying and am at peace about this, but am also scared. i have faith that this is what i am supposed to do, and feel that everything will be fine.

Wow, we need to have our own July 1st message board...I wonder if there would be an easy way for us to email each other as a group as we get out....anyway, I'm having mine july 1 st in the AFTERNOON in Birmingham AL... and I followed a diet designed to shrink the liver for the past few days, except for today, I was good, then had my farwell two donuts and liquids tomorrow, tests on Monday, and surgery on Tues. Ya'll will probably be coming out of the recovery room before I go in, but don't worry, I won't ask you to email us how it went until you get home!!!!
All those in favor of having a temporary July 1 email digest for the next few months as we go through it say AYE by sending an email to [email protected] and I'll set it up.
