I'm having a revision on 7/8/03. I had a VGB 8 yrs ago and now the ring is not working the way it should. I am having an open RYN. I can't wait for this to be behind me and be on the losing side of things. 8 years ago I started at 320 lbs I had the VBG had two children and lost 150 lbs and was maintaining at 170 lbs. I've gained 30 lbs in the last 7 months due to eating high fat soft foods because I can't eat many solid foods due to the ring malfunctioning. I now weigh 200 lbs. I am hoping to lose 65 lbs with the revision. Good luck to all of you and your upcoming surgeries. Tami

Good Luck Tami on your revision. I am having an open distal RNY at Bellin in Green Bay on the 8th also. I have Dr. Thomas Geocaris.
