Surgery scheduled 7/22/03

Hi everyone, I have my surgery scheduled for 7/22/03. Although I really want this surgery I have some concerns about my ability to stick with the diet and really lose, and keep off, the weight I lose. Does anyone know someone who has had this surgery for longer than five years to share their success? Thanks and good luck to all of you scheduled before me. Melody

Even though I am a pre-op I trully believe that post-op life is easier if you have a nutritionist to help you out. Do you have one? Included in my aftercare with my surgeon is seeing the nutritionist for a year. I think I see her ever 2 or 3 months but I can call her or email as much as I need. I have talked to many others that say the nutritionist has really made a difference. I plan on seeing my nutritionist as long as I need her.
