I will have my one year anniversary on July 9th. I am feeling good, I have lost 110 lbs. from my highest weight of 263, and and 100 lbs. since surgery. My diabetes, high blood pressure, and pain from arthritic hips is GONE (okay, on rainy days I have little twinges in the hips, but that's all!). The only ill effect I have had is low iron, and I will be seeing a hematologist in the next week or so to see if I should start getting periodic iron injections. I thank God I found out about this surgery, and that things have gone so smoothly. Good luck to you all.

I had my surgery July 23, 2002. I have lost 148 lbs as of today June 15, 2003. I am losing a lot slower now and still have to watch what I eat. I dont eat sweets and as of a couple of months ago am able to drink water again. It made me sick before. I walk now almost every day. I have a lot of saggy skin that really bothers me but I dont know what to do about it. How are you doing? Any tips on how I can speed up this weight loss? I wont be "done" until I see 174 lbs. I want to have lost 200 lbs total.

I had my surgery July 18th. Just curious as to how others are doing who had their surgery around the same time.
