We're all heading into the 14th month post-op. What's your name? What surgery did you have? On what date? Which surgeon? Where? Starting weight/BMI? Current weight/BMI? Starting co-morbidities? Okay, so here's my answers... What's your name? Dina What surgery did you have? BPD/DS On what date? July 2, 2002 Which surgeon? Aniceto Baltasar, MD Where? Alcoy, Spain Starting weight/BMI? 365 lbs/ 64 BMI Current weight/BMI? 182 lbs/ 32.2 BMI Starting co-morbidities? diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, congestive heart failure, acid reflux, stress incontinence, degenerative joint disease in my back, bilateral grade 4 degeneration of the knees, in a wheelchair Current co-morbidities? Slight hypertension Would you do it again? So totally Best part of being a post-op? Not being so sick or in so much pain any more, enjoying getting to play with my kids, having a blast doing stuff with my husband, feeling so wonderful... Worst part of being a post-op? Can't think of a thing. What's your goal weight? My surgeon says I'll weigh 130 lbs this time next year.

NONE Would you do it again? in a New York minute, in a heartbeat!! Best part of being a post-op? I am in the best shape physically that I have ever been in my entire life! Worst part of being a post-op? I have not discovered a worst part! Or not being able to stay in clothes that fit! What's your goal weight? My personal goal weight is 130

Ctr, Dallas, TX Date: July 5, 2003 Surgeon: Dr. Joseph Kuhn Starting weight/BMI: 314/53.9 Current weight/BMI: 181/31.1 Starting co-morb: diabetes, high BP, high cholesterol Current co-morb: diabetes in remission, no others Do again: ummmmm, HECK YES! Best part: being able to be physically active & no prescription meds. Worst part: blood clots after 7 weeks which is now resolved. Goal weight: 140

Lima, Preru Starting weight/BMI? 365 lbs/ 64 BMI Current weight/BMI? 210 lbs/ Starting co-morbidities? diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, , acid reflux, degenerative joint disease in my back, degeneration of the knees, Current co-morbidities? Slight low hemoglobin level Would you do it again? Yes and try to get people hooked to the idea Best part of being a post-op? Feeling so wonderful... I just had a tummy tuck, walking, breating, fitting on the plane, on the movie theaters... Worst part of being a post-op? Reflux at the beginning What's your goal weight? My surgeon says I should wigh 70 kilos this time next year.
