My name is Lalita, and I had my surgery 2 years ago today. First I'm going to say it is not easy. The first year was, because that is when you lose most of the weight. After that for me it began to come of slower. Partly was my fault, because I began to slack off on the things that I was doing especially EXERCISE. I have not yet reached my own personal goal. I have about 35 pounds i wish to lose. I am happy with what has been accomplished so far. This surgery is definately a tool to help you. It is not a cure. I'm still a size 16. I will take that any day over being a size 28. To kick start my weight loss again I have joined karate. I was starting to eat things that I shouldn't and that has not helped with me trying to reach my goal. But I have made up in my mind that I did not go through all of this to not reach my goal. I will do it. I would like to say happy anniversary to the people that are celebrating, and God bless those who are in the beginning stages and so on. The question that I get the most is "would I do the same thing all over again. I tell them with no hesitation"YES". God Bless You All.
