New Birthday is July 16, 2001!

I am a 5yr. postie and have never regretted this surgery. Yes, I've had my struggles, but overall, my life is better and still improving. Right now, I'm dealing with anemia for the first time, but it's (my hemoglobin) improving. I agree that maybe the psychological aspect of this life transforming surgery isn't given as much consideration as should be. I would advise anyone who undergoes gastric bypass to join support groups and get counseling. This will help you avoid alot of pitfalls you might not have considered...
