I'm counting down the days to life change -- Monday, June 17 at 11 am! Anyone else have my surgery date?

Surgery: July 11, 2013. Hamilton, Ontario.
well got home on fri.... hubby took me sat to get my hair washed and dryed and my nail and toes done... got home and layed around the rest of the day.... sun took a ride to the creek around 40 min s gone and did a little walking.... back home and lay around.... I keep a drink in my hand at all times.... sip sip sip all thru the day..... jello jello jello .... but its getting to were I wont some softer foods now.... so today on Monday I fixed some water down toters... and ate them.. just to help me out.... but all in all im doing good....
glad to hear that your son is doing good too..... hope better and better by each day that goes by.....
How is everyone doing since surgery? I hope all are getting stronger and better each day. My son had is VSG surgery on June 6th too, and he's doing great. He is up to approx. 50 oz of liquids per day, goes down easier each day. Although, he feels he is not releasing (urinating) as much as he should and is concerned. Will call the surgeon and see what he says.
Anyone else having fluid retention?
I'm June 17, too! Starting to get a liittle nervous!

I will be having the RNY procedure done and I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I'm a worrier by nature so I've been focusing lately on the bad things that could go wrong during the surgery. I am going to start my liquid diet tomorrow, a week earlier than what my doctor ordered. I know it will be difficult but I am determined. Wish me luck everyone. Thank you.
