June 7th

Hello I am new to this site. My name is Angella. I am having my surgery on June 7th. I really don't know many people that have went thru this. So I was told to check out this web site.

To be honest, I am scared to death to have this done. I know that it will make my healthy, and I will live longer. I am currently 5'9 302. I have tryed for many years to do it on my own. And know this is my only option.

I hope to make some new friends on here that I can go thru this with. I start my pre-op diet on Thursday. I am sure I will loose some weight on my own befor the 7th. I have never been skinny, so I don't even know what I will look like. All these fears. I am sure I am not alone.

Welcome Angella!  From the friends that I have that have been through this fear is common but the rewards are worth it.  It's been so long since I've been skinny I'm scared I won't like what I look like or feel like.

Hi, Angella. I think fear is very common.  Not only will you look great skinny but you will feel awesome too!

 Good Luck! I will be thinking about you on the seventh -- I too am a June surgery -- about a week after yours --- keep me posted on how you do!
