That is awesome. I am gonna get some Mrs. Dash today. i wonder if i could use my natures seasoning instead. because like you the broth was no joke and it does not taste the best at all. My stomach was doing some weird things yesterday to but i made it thru day 1 without cheating i did suck a piece of  sugar free hard candy though. but i will survive especially since i know i can use seasonings.

 30 lbs is awesome....I told my husband who doesn't want the surgery that the optifast would be a good option for a 30 to 60 days with medical supervision...

 I like that time nice and early and you have the day to recover ....awesome ! I had the preop visit with the surgeon also.....and awaiting more instructions.....I am making my shopping list now for my 6 weeks diet post op so I can be ready....and reviewing instructions so I can have every thing I need to do pretty much second nature as I was told by a 4yr post op....who is still doing well.....so ya know that good instruction...

Defiantly substituting the proteins for full meals is how I have lost 50 lb in the last 4 months. My doctor has said that I have lost enough weight he is not concerned too much about my liver at this point. I am starting the protein replacements in the AM that will be 14 days pre-op for me.  I want to lose as much as possible before surgery so I will be having mostly salad, bars, and shakes. I recommend getting the magic bullet from the TV or online because you get two for the price of one. I keep one at home and one at work. I am going a little extreme and replacing all of my meals with protein shakes, and bars. I really like the premier protein bars and shakes low carbohydrates high protein.
