Topic: RE: 2 weeks from tomorrow and worried
I am completely the opposite of you ladies.  I have a drug tolerance from being on narcotics for rheumatoid arthritis for the better part of 10 years.  I have no idea what drug they will use, but I was assuming it would be Demerol.  I like the idea of a pain pump because then you control the intensity of the amount of drug going into your body.  Some of us might need to push the button once or twice an hour while others might need some every 15 minutes.  I can manage with a great deal of pain, I just prefer not to.

I can't believe you are going back to work 2 days after major surgery!  I don't know how you will manage that---I hope your job is not too stressful.  I can't even imagine that!  I was still working when I had my gallbladder out and I must be a wimp because I needed the whole six weeks off from work and still felt like I went back to work too soon even 2 weeks after I went back.

Thanks for the info.  Will have to look into that when I run low on the ones I have.

I LOVE Dr Who!
Not much cooking going on here. No kids to worry about, my SO is trying to be very good about eating around me. Just my head I have to worry about.

Check out Bariatric Fusion vitamins its 4 chewable pills a day but it has all the vitamins that we need all wrapped in one and they are quite tasty. I like the mixed berry personally. the website is http://www.bariatricfusion.com/

Help please. I am insulin dependent diabetic(one of the reasons i am having the surgery)and today i can actually say my sugar dropped so low i had to have a small box of rasins to bring it back up. Came across this post from the search engine and there is a Pam Tremble that responded with some great links to her blog page that has great links to Weight Loss articles written by professionals regarding meds, vitamins, etc.  She also has a printable spreadsheet to track your bloodwork on.  Just thought that I would share this with you all.

I have also created my own "food journal" page that I keep track of my water, protein, vitamins, etc on that I will see if I can attach to a post for you guys and maybe it will help some of you.   Writing down when I take my vitamins helps a lot so I can space them out and know what time I took my iron so that I do not take it too close to taking the calciums.  This is in excel and should be easily adjusted to suit what meds/vitamins you take.  The highlighted areas are the minimums.  Will see if I can attach it on another post.

Well my diet is 70+ g of protein, veggies, water, crystal light, 0 cal/fat dressing, broth, sf jello, sf water ice. I plan to have 4 shales per day just to keep me full. I have to admit that last night I was stressed about what if I get hungry through the day....but so far it's not bad!

I only have 2 weeks to do this diet.
