I am so glad to hear that you are doing well.  I have been so worked up about how I am going to feel after surgery.  This gives me hope.  I wish you the best on your road to recovery.

Take it slow - remember sip, walk, rest, repeat!

It will get better - the first couple of days are the worst!

Still in the hospital. I feel better today. Hard to drink and kinda painful. I hope I will get to go home tomorrow. I need to work an these liquids. I'll post more when I'm home and not drugged up.

I would give it some time.  If you still feel fatigue, I recommend getting some bloodwork done.  It could be something as simple as iron.  Hope you're up and around soon!  Hugs!!!

I would skip the extra clothes.  Wear something comfortable when you arrive and wear the same thing home.  No need for pjs. You will have catheter and IVs in and it's easier to stay in the hospital gowns. I wore two, one opening in back and one opening in front.

Here is what I brought
Toothbrush and toothpaste
hair brush
lip balm
cell phone and charger
Bariatric notebook
C-pap machine.

You may want to bring a robe for when you walk but it isn't necessary.

I slept alot off and on (most of the first day).  You are so busy sipping, walking,  respiratory treatments,  blood pressure and giving blood you don't have time for much else.
