Well are you getting excited now? 
As you know, mine is Tuesday and have a million things going through my mind and laying out instructions for my mom to come stay w/my kids and get things in order all while having to spend as much time as i can w/hubby as he returns overseas tomorrow. 
So glad your mom gets to come be w/you. Looks like I will be alone at the hospital as it is 40+ miles away and have chose not to tell too many people that I am having surgery and the few that do know, wouldn't be able to come up there. Oh well....will get through. Probably won't be up to having visitors anyway.

We had planned on my mom being there for the whole thing and staying at the hosp. w/me as it is 40+ miles from my home and husband leaves to go back overseas tomorrow night, but have had to make the choice of not allowing the person we had lined up to stay w/the kids and SIL. So looks as though my mom will probably stay until I get out of surgery, then come back and stay a few days here w/the kids then come back when I am getting released from hospital. Aggravating!

almost time Teresa. Best wishes to you. I hope we both have an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. I will be in the hospital monday and tuesday and returning to work on wednesday.

OMG MY DOCTOR CALLED TODAY WHILE I WAS AT WORK IM SOOOOOO HAPPY BUT NERVOUS NOW. MY SURGEON CALLS TODAY TO TELL ME MY SURGERY IS THE 27TH OF THIS MONTH. HOW CRAZY IS THAT I FEEL LIKE I NEED TIME TO PREPARE. I HONESTLY THOUGHT I WAS GONNA GET DENIED.

I wasnt put on a liquid diet with the exception of 24 hours beforehand.
I just cant drink alcohol, which has been soooo wack lol
I am used to a nice glass of wine every evening when I get home from work. Its been a tough adjustment.
I'm going to start my "diet" 48 hours ahead of time instead of 24, just to be on the safe side.

Topic: Hi June Surgery Dates!!Are you all on Liquid Pre Op Diets??
As ordered by my surgeon on Monday I started the Opti Fast Pre-op diet before Surgery on the 20th. It gives me diarrhea and I feel tired and exhausted.
Is everyone doing Liquid Opti Fast?? How is everyone else doing on the pre-op diet? Does everyone have to do this??

You are going to be fine!! You have made it this far in the pre-op stage. Our surgeries are the same day..

Well I started making them for me. So I could see where I came from..But I feel blessed that other people are finding strength and knowledge from them..so blessing to you on the 20th. You will be fine

I was soo worried about what surgery would be like and how i am going to feel after this procedure. I just want to thank you for your youtube videos. Now I am less nervous about how I will feel when I wake up after surgery. When you said that the pain feels like after you have done a lot of crunches I was like OK I know what that feels like and I can deal with that. You are open and honest and to the point and without all the drama. I really like that about your videos.
