Three days to go! I can't believe how fast the last week and a half went. I got the call on Wednesday the 8th, so I didn't have much time to prepare myself for the two week prep. Its been a rough road, I'll admit. I work part time, am in school full time, have a 2.5 yr old daughter, have a husband (who is supportive but sometimes doesn't get it...) and two of this brothers happen to be living with us right now. One of whom is what I would call a fatty-hater. He is constantly commenting on people's weight. His kid's mom has a major eating disorder and he's always commenting on his daughter's eating habits, in a not so positive way. He's not necessarily mean, but the comments aren't necessary for an 18 mo old. all babies are chunky dude... Ugh.

Its been interesting to say the least. I'm feeling optimistic though. I've lost 20 lbs since the consult date. 11 since I started the two week liquid diet. I'm looking forward to moving on in this journey.

Now I'm off to start making my lists... what to bring, what to be before, what to have dh do while I'm at the hospital..

 Yes, it has already been a learning experience.  I haven't had any problems with the pouch so far, so I am happy about that.  Everything is going down nicely, no vomiting or uncomfortableness.  Good luck to you who are going in this week!

 I know several others are also having their surgery today, I am up and ready to go to the hospital. I am nervous. But I am also determined. Had bad dreams this morning but most likely coz I was hungry and thirsty. Well not really hungry. my stomach still isnt as bad as I thought it would be on a liquid diet. See ya on the other side. 

 My pain reminded me of doing too many sit up or cruchs...my tummy was just tight felt like more in the muscles then anything else...I stayed aroun a 6 on the scale of 1-10...i was aiming for 0...but oh well..it is surgery right
