Home from the hospital!!!

I came home last night and I feel GREAT!!! I am taking it easy and relaxing. I'm drinking like I should be and enjoying the new me!

I am glad it went well.

Welcome home!!! I too am taking it Easy. We made it to the losers bench let our rebirth take its full course...we are babes in the water for now but we are going to do this and succeed.

My surgery was on the same day as yours..I am home also!   Just tired and can not  drink enough of the protein, broth etc..Never in my life have I not been hungry! 

I am nauseated and very sore.  Have not needed pain meds since yesterday.   Other then that my labs & GI test look good. Doc called in script today for nausea.   We will succeed!!!

Great to hear!  I came home yesterday as well.  All went well and no complications!  More sore from my shoulder/back muscles lifting me in/out of bed to protect the stitches.

I guess we all had the same week! 
I was sleeved Tuesday and came home Thursday.
I'm not getting in all the fluid and protein but I'm doing the best I can.
I feel SO damned full. I think he made my sleeve only able to take in 3 oz max
I bought 3 oz cups and thats what I use for my protein shakes, which I just mix with skim milk
I'm also drinking gatorade over water for the electrolytes
My biggest issue at first was the gas, but when that released, I swear I saw heaven lol

Iam glad to hear that you are home and doing well.  I got home on Thursday and am doing okay.  While in the hospital they had a hard time keeping my pain under control.  I am still in a lot of pain and I am taking my pain meds regularly.  I still have my drain tube in but that comes out on Thursday (hopefully).  I am glad that I have not had a problem with nausea and vomiting.  I am not able to get in all of the protein or water that I am supposed to be getting in.  Honestly, and this has NEVER been an issue for me, but I forget to eat and drink.  I just dont feel hungry at all. It is so weird.

I am glad to see the others who have had surgery are doing well.
