June 28th surgery date...
Hi all... new to this forum, figured I would say hi to everyone... so HI EVERYONE!!
My surgery date is June 28th, I start liquids tomorrow, and I was wondering if anyone else has a similar date... I would like to find a 'buddy' that we can share our experiences and lend support to eachother during this time...I am pretty nervous, although excited about this lifestyle altering event.. my daughter had surgery March 23,2010 and has lost 100# and looks/feels wonderful.. hoping I am as fortunate :0)Maddi

are you nervous?? I am so excited and crazy nervous all at once....trying to keep myself busy here at work but all I am doing is watching the clock and playing everything through in my head...blah!!
I have two friends that have had it......one is doing good and one is gaining back....I am trying to learn from both of them....

I've had three fills. I didn't want the third one but the Doc wanted me to have the full sensation and I wasn't having that. I now have that, but I get full or choking and have to get it up and out when I eat too fast. I also exercise more. I hope to lose 50 more lbs. Be encouraged and continue following the process.
I deffinately exercise more, and can't eat a lot, but instead have 4 or 5 smaller meals. I go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week, spin, have a trainer and started the 'couch to 5k' program. I can run 4 minutes at a time, and have entered a mini-triathalon for June 2012. I only wish I was getting the results from the band I've seen some people having.
