suprise call

Well I had my preop yesterday and everything is a go. So today my dr office just called and asked if i wanted to do it tomorrow since they had a cancellation....but needless to say i told her no due to my mom wont be here until saturday night,.....

I have surgery on Monday as well.  I hope everything goes well for you.  I am so happy that I will have my mom with me as well.

We had planned on my mom being there for the whole thing and staying at the hosp. w/me as it is 40+ miles from my home and husband leaves to go back overseas tomorrow night,  but have had to make the choice of not allowing the person we had lined up to stay w/the kids and SIL.  So looks as though my mom will probably stay until I get out of surgery, then come back and stay a few days here w/the kids then come back when I am getting released from hospital.  Aggravating! 

Well are you getting excited now?  As you know, mine is Tuesday and have a million things going through my mind and laying out instructions for my mom to come stay w/my kids and get things in order all while having to spend as much time as i can w/hubby as he returns overseas tomorrow.   

So glad your mom gets to come be w/you.  Looks like I will be alone at the hospital as it is 40+ miles away and have chose not to tell too many people that I am having surgery and the few that do know, wouldn't be able to come up there.  Oh well....will get through.  Probably won't be up to having visitors anyway.
