Surgery Date schedules

Congrats on getting a date everyone!
I started my pre-op diet. 6 weeks of Optifast. It has been 11 days so far. It really has not been bad. I get weighed in next Monday. I am excited to see what I have lost. My scale and the doctor's scale are different.

My date is June 22nd and I can't wait! I wish I could have done it earlier but being a teacher, I had to schedule it around school! Can't wait to be on the losers bench!

I am a teacher as well, and I scheduled mine during the summer so that I can rest, as well as start an exercise routine. Our school gets out June 3, and I set my date for the MONDAY right after school gets out for the summer!!!! I'm uber excited!!

I guess im late as well finding this ..but my date in june 20th..woot! woot!..im super duper excited ..but i have to admit im lil nervous cuz u do hear complications stories and things like that..

Good luck. Many complications are minor. Hopefully you have a skilled experienced surgeon that will take good care of you.

I should have a June date as well. I just received insurance approval today and am waiting for the scheduler to call me!! I'm a lil anxious....to say the least!

First visit with surgeon                            3/17/11
Cleared for surgery                                 4/29/11
Approved by insurance                            5/10/11

I will have my RNY surgery June 21,2011
I need to take some weight off before my surgery or it will be canceld so I will be working hard to get it off. I think about 20 more pounds to go. Good luck with your surgery

I got my surgery date yesterday~June 27th!! I am super excited!! Wi**** were sooner but I guess this will give me time to prepare!! Wish you all the best of luck and I look forward to hearing all the success stories!
