Congrats. I also have a date of June 1st.  I will be in Nashville, Tn. We will both be going thru at the same time.  I wish you the best.

 I received my official surgery date for Laproscopic RNY Gastric Bypass last week.   I will be going in for surgery on the 15th on June and am really nervous and yet totally excited.  The process has been so extremely fast for me to get my scheduled date.  I am a self pay so I didn't have to await insurance and I didn't undergo a bunch of tests.  I went to a seminar then my first appointment and I had my surgery date so I feel blessed and that it is finally my time.   I joined a gym 2 weeks ago and I have been walking 3 miles a day for the last year so I plan on getting my full routine worked out now.    I am so excited to see all you that will be having your operation around mine so that we can discuss and issues or questions that we have with each other.   I  can't wait to see all of the before and after pictures  over the next few months and years to come!!!!

Okay when you say "a year post-op"  that gets me even more nervous!!!  My weight has caused me pain (in joints and such), medical and psy issues, so I know I need to have the surgery.  I have a foot surgery tomorrow that wil take four months to recover so my jorney actually starts tomorrow and I still don't think that I am ready.  But ready or not it is going to happen!!!!

That is my goal tooo!  I am hoping to having surgery, relize band, done on June 1.  I meet with the Dr. and the nutrionist this week and do my sleep study.  The last of my required tests.  My insurance is pretty easy going so I hope it doesn't take too long.  I really need the June 1 date.  wow , you have a really long pre-op diet.  What is it?  Three weeks.  Ours is only 10 days.
