June 14th!

I cant believe I have a date! I have been working to get approved for so long! I remember back in 2004 when I first tried to get the surgery being so excited then being denied because of an exclusion. oh how far ive come! Nothing is gonna stop me now! 

Congrats! I am sure your very excited especially have such a long jouney. Thankfully that jouney is almost over and a new one is soon to start!!!

Hi. I'm not sure if ill have to do liquids. I will find out Thursday. That is when I have my pre op testing.

Congratulations! By now you have had your surgery. We have the same Surgiversary. I had VSG on 6/14. Hope you're feeling better. I am, day by day getting stronger. I must say I am quite sick of clears and am looking forward to protein shakes. Have you researched any brands? Would love to have a buddy with the same day. LMK if you would like one too.

Hi. I would love to be buddys. I have already been on protein shakes and milk but other than that only clear liquids. I should graduate to pureed foods on Thursday, as well as get my drain out.

I swear today I could smell cooking hamburgers. I never thought in a million years I would have such an issue with food. I saw the food in the fridge for my husband and I just wanted it soo bad.

This is why I never succeeded at any diet or food plan. Id get hungry and cheat. Believe me if I didn't think I would hurt mysefl I might have just grabbed a piece of lunch meat. I guess that's why we have suport groups and forums like this.

Anyway, hope your doing well. Keep the faith that it will be worth it and in time it will be.

As for protein shakes I've been doing. Eas advant edge carb control. Hope that helps.
